Singers: All audition selections should be art songs in at least two different languages; one of which should be Spanish if possible (it is fine if you don’t have a Spanish art song)

Pianists: Should include at least one chamber piece, preferably with a singer, if they would like to be considered for the duo masterclasses.

Preference is given to duos who apply as duos, so please indicate your duo partner on the application form:

We will assign all singers who come without a duo partner to a pianist, or they will be accompanied by the faculty in their master classes and coachings.  We will also suggest repertoire if any applicants wish to prepare more than what they already have.

Applicants will be informed of their acceptance status within two weeks after their audition materials are received.

Accepted participants will receive a list with more housing options and a list of optional excursions and activities and they are confirmed (trips to museums, archives and excursions to Segovia and Toledo are in the works - as well as attending concerts, flamenco and a paella)

Applications will be accepted until June 30th

Returning students (those who have attended courses offered by the “Escuela Superior de Canto de Madrid”, Project Canción Española or the International Spanish Music Center should apply by email, but do not need to include an audition or resume. They will be considered with the other students for scholarship (merit based).
