 Born in Madrid in 1935, Spanish mezzo soprano Teresa Berganza is an international ambassador for Spanish repertoire. A noted interpreter of Spanish songs and zarzuelas, she currently performs recitals and teaches masterclasses in auditoriums and institutions around the world. Berganza began her international career in the late 1950’s, and has since performed at all of the world’s major opera houses. She is celebrated above all for her roles in Rossini operas. In particular, her Rosina in Rossini's "Il Barbiere di Siviglia" has been universally praised for the youthful glow and vivacity of her interpretation. Her virtuosity and refined technique, along with the bewitchingly mellifluous timbre of her voice, have elevated her to the rank of one of the leading mezzo sopranos of our time.

La mezzo soprano Nan Maro Babakhanian ha trabajado con orquestas y compañías de ópera por todo el mundo.

Conocida por sus dinámicas actuaciones en escena y por su amplio y variado repertorio (Amneris, Requiem de Verdi, Dido, Carmen, etc.), tuvo el honor de estudiar con la gran Christa Ludwig durante su extensa investigación sobre el arte de los recitales.

Ha realizado giras por Estados Unidos, Brasil , Puerto Rico y Europa, con recitales de Canción Española con guitarra y piano. Ha actuado en el Carnegie Recital Hall, con Marta Zabaleta y Asier Polo, además de actuar regularmente con Jorge Robaina y José María Gallardo del Rey.

Maestro Zanetti lleva siendo durante muchos años una fuente de inspiración y de información para varias generaciones de oyentes y estudiantes del Repertorio Vocal Espallñol, a través de sus cientos de recitales en los escenarios más prestigiosos del mundo (Carnegie, Avery Fischer, Musikverein, Colón, Pleyel, etc.) y de sus grabaciones con artistas tan famosos como Victoria de los Ángeles, Montserrat Caballé, Pilar Lorengar, Nicolai Gedda, Teresa Berganza, Alfredo Kraus y José Carreras, entre otros. El Sr. Zanetti, asimismo, ha colaborado con instrumentistas como Jean-Pierre Rampal, André Navarra, Ruggiero Ricci, y Ludwig Streicher, por nombrar sólo unos pocos. También ha tocado y grabado a dúo con Fernando Turina, Piano a Cuatro Manos. Actualmente, imparte clases en la Escuela Superior de Canto.

Rieger, Mr. Robaina is known not only for his performances of the Spanish vocal repertoire around Europe, but also for maintaining a career as a soloist with the major orchestras of Europe, including Orquesta Nacional de España, Radio Television Orchestra of Poland, and the Mozart Orchestra of Vienna. A master of the Spanish piano repertoire, he toured Germany, Austria, and Switzerland playing Manuel de Falla’s “Jardines de España” and Ravel’s Concerto in G major. In Spain he has appeared in major halls and festivals, such as the International Music Festival of Granada.  His recent performances include a recital with singer María José Montiel.

Juan Miguel Giménez MirandaJuan Miguel Jiménez Miranda is one of Spain’s leading experts in flamenco guitar. As a soloist he has performed around the world, participating in international music festivals such as the International Guitar Festival of Cordoba, the International Music Festival in Lublin (Poland), the International Music and Dance Festival in Bir Zeit (Palestine), and the Rheingau Music Festival in Frankfurt (Germany). As a member of the flamenco group Alhucema, he has worked for the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs
and Andalucía’s Board of Tourism, touring extensively in over twenty countries. He is a professor at the Real Conservatorio Superior de Música “Victoria Eugenia” in Granada and has given master-classes and lectures in several countries in association with Spain’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. At the moment he is working on his doctoral thesis at the Anthropology Department of the University of Granada focusing on the topic “guitar and flamenco.

places such as Jerusalem, Germany, Mauritania, Morocco, France, and Turkey.
At present he directs the “La Chumbera” Auditorium in Granada.
